Yuri on Ice Episode 7 Review

Episode 7 of Yuri on Ice was great, and if you haven’t seen it then I recommend you watch it to avoid spoilers. This episode was amazing. It had some really, really good character development in it, especially Yuri and Victor’s relationship. Yuri crying in front of Victor meant quite a lot, it showed how comfortable Yuri is with Victor, since at the beginning of the series he would hide in the bathroom to cry, and wouldn’t even talk to his mother while crying either. So for him to cry so openly in front of Victor meant he had...

Free! Review

This is the anime that introduced me to sports anime. I had no idea that that sort of anime existed until my friend showed me Free!. I also only watched it for muscles. This is my favourite sports anime so far, it’s the only one that’s really interested me (I really like muscles). Yuri on Ice is slowly catching up, but compared to Kuroko No Basket and Haikyu, Free! Is definitely my favourite. It was interesting from the first episode, and it does take a few episodes for the swimming to kick in, it’s still interesting up until that...

Darker Than Black Review

I’m going to be honest and say I haven’t finished this anime. I have six episodes left to watch, it’s just I’m finding it really boring and nothing is being explained. There isn’t an obvious storyline either. I did love this anime, it has a great start and it’s probably something I’ll have to try watching from the beginning. I was watching it dubbed and at college, and the other people in my class are very noisy so that meant I missed a lot of dialogue, which was probably necessary for me to enjoy it. It does have an...

New 3DS Review

Originally, I wasn’t going to buy one of these. I had the original 3DS so I didn’t see the point of upgrading when it was released. I only got one because it actually seemed worthwhile to spend £20 extra to buy a New XL compared to the old XL, and I wanted a bigger screen. However, I am very impressed with it. I haven’t used the Amiibo functionality. I personally think Amiibos are a waste of money, I only own Link and I got him because I love The Legend of Zelda. He also looks pretty cool on my...

Why Aizen is the Best Anime Villain

Aizen is the main villain throughout the whole of Bleach. So what makes him a good villain? Firstly, he’s incredibly selfish. He will stop at nothing to get what he desires, using anyone and anything he can to get his way. He doesn’t care who dies, as long as he achieves his goal.   He has no reason behind it at all, other than he just wants to be king. No one treated him badly to make him have this dream, he’s doing it because he wants to. There’s no ulterior motive behind it at all. He has...
