It certainly has been a crazy ride. Bleach started out in August 20th 2001, by its creator Tite Kubo (whose real name is Noriaki Kubo) and it ended August 22th 2016. It’s been a long 15 years and 2 days but it’s all been worth it. The characters we know and love have grown up, and gone on with their lives. Families have been created, professions have been sought after and people have certainly changed. We’ve come a long way.
I, for one, can say that I am satisfied with the of Bleach. Kubo did an amazing job wrapping up all the loose ends. Though I do feel the end was a bit rushed, I am amazed at the way Kubo made up for that with such a great ending. Almost everything I desired has been achieved. I loved learning that Aizen was still alive though disappointed that he was still stuck in that prison. And I also liked Yhwach’s reasons for doing the things he did. Especially my ships, Ichigo X Orihime and Rukia X Renji for life. I love seeing the aftermath when my ships set out to sea, especially when they have children .Their children are just really cute, I just love the character designs. And I do have to say I love Ichigo’s new design, that short hair makes him look cool and grown up (but nothing can beat that sexy-ass Mugetsu hair). I do have to mention this though. DID you guys see Orihime, she looked so cute. Ichigo really got lucky.
Some of the things, didn’t work out as much as I imagined them. LIKE where are the rest of the ships, huh? Where is Hitsugaya X Rangiku, where is Yoruichi X Urahara, or even Kyoraku X Nanao. Why wasn’t Hitsugaya’s older form bankai explained. Why was the aftermath of the fight in a flashback. AND WHERE THE HELL IS AIZEN’S BANKAI. Like come on, you can’t end Bleach without the most powerful guy never getting use his Bankai. I want to see that. I would also like to see more of the Soul Society and all the other members. And I definitely would want to see more of Abarai Ichika and Kurosaki Kazui. That is definitely also a ship.
Overall, I was happy with the ending of Bleach. And although I am sad to see it go, I am personally satisfied with that ending. Now all we have to do is wait for the anime to come back, which I hope it will, and we can relive Bleach over one last time. This time fully animated. I really do hope they make a new Bleach anime, with no fillers and true storyline that follows the manga, please? That should be too hard. And so comes the end of another great manga, for 15 years we have witness and it has finally come to a bittersweet end. Goodbye, Bleach and Kurosaki Ichigo and Kurosaki Kazui. Until we meet again.
