Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid is so adorable. It’s also very funny. I’m only two episodes in and I’m already in love with this anime.

The animation is very nice, I don’t think I’ve watched enough to really comment on it, since it can go downhill as the series progresses. I love the art style too, since everyone looks so cute. I love cute anime.

The story is intriguing, despite it not really being much of a story to begin with. This isn’t surprising, since it is slice of life. I am excited to meet other dragons and learn more about where they’re from etc. as well as any other characters I have yet to meet. It’s really interesting for a slice of life and it isn’t boring at all. It actually reminds me a lot of Nichijou. Scenes aren’t dragged out and they’re interesting enough to not be boring. Some slice of life have really drawn out scenes with a lot of dialogue and just aren’t interesting due to the lack of storyline.

The characters I have met are very interesting, include Makoto which is surprising since he doesn’t do much. I love how quirky and unique everyone is, they’re not the same characters from every other slice of life anime out there (although, I don’t really have much to compare it to since slice of life isn’t an anime genre I watch a lot).

Both Tohru and Kanna are very cute, although Kanna is cuter due to her size and large eyes. Is this anime moe? I’m really not sure.

It’s not extremely cliché either, and it’s very, very funny. I love the humour in it since it’s very silly. Both episodes I’ve seen haven’t been boring at all and have been very amusing to watch.

So far, I really like this anime and I can’t wait to catch up. There’s only eight episodes out at the moment, so I’m slightly dreading watching all of them and then having to wait for the next few to be released.

I highly recommend that you watch it, even if slice of life isn’t your thing.
