Reason 2: The Beauty14107766_2084304148461881_4139447905990193410_oThe visuals of both space and planet surfaces is breathtaking in No Man’s Sky, from the gas clouds coloring space to the alien terrain covered in equally alien fauna.

Reason 3: The Starships14068599_2084307885128174_811945648737611353_o
Of course all space related games will contain starships, but No Man’s Sky takes them to a whole new level by making them drive able in a realistic sized space and allows the player full control over many sci-fi types of ship speed functions.

Reason 4: The Mystery14067764_2084303558461940_7980352956667303487_o
While the player can interact with and learn from existing sentient aliens, the cast galaxy of No Man’s Sky leaves quite a bit to the imagination. There are things ranging from long forgotten distress signals on remote planets, to abandoned outposts full of strange ooze that seems to have replaced former inhabitants.

Reason 5: Diversity14066234_2084303411795288_7562064852013758369_o
No Man’s Sky of course has so many plants you could never explore them all, and not only that there are so many factors that contribute to what you can find on each planet. Some players may find a water covered planet in every system they jump to, while other players may only encounter heavily forested planets.

Reason 6: The Experience14125650_2084303058461990_8400453753427190245_o
While No Man’s Sky is not a perfect game and it’s not for everyone, we can all agree that it is a groundbreaking feat and changes the future of gaming. That alone makes playing it these first few weeks such an interesting experience.
